Why would anyone come to such a beautiful place as Sedona, only to sit in a dark movie theater? Because that theater is the Sedona SuperVue Theater, a 4 story high Imax style theater, featuring a movie all about Sedona. It's called Sedona: The Spirit of Wonder, and it will tell you everything you've been dying to know about the area. From the formation of the Red Rocks to the Native Americans and early settlers, how Sedona got it's name, and some awesome aerial footage of the rock formations. We highly recommend making the theater your first stop in Sedona. It will give you a good idea of the sights you want to see, and what you might want to skip. Best of all, if you are coming into Sedona from I-17, the SuperVue Theater is one of the first things you will come to.

The theater might be a little hard to find if it's your first time in the area. Most people are looking for a 4 story building. Although it's a 4 story screen, the building is only 2 stories. The other 2 stories are underground. The theater is at the second stop light, at the back of the Oak Creek Factory Outlets.
